Commonplace book

According to Wikipedia, commonplace books are

are a way to compile knowledge, usually by writing information into books. Such books are essentially scrapbooks filled with items of every kind: recipes, quotes, letters, poems, tables of weights and measures, proverbs, prayers, legal formulas. Commonplaces are used by readers, writers, students, and scholars as an aid for remembering useful concepts or facts they have learned. Each commonplace book is unique to its creator's particular interests.

So I am going to use this blog as a bit of a commonplace book. Better than Pinterest because I will actually read and absorb things and then replay it on this site, better than a notebook because I can electronically access it and sort through it by tags and categories. Welcome to my journey through this process!
